Train Like a Warrior

We didn't start this brand in a boardroom. We started it on our knees.

Soldier of God Athletics exists for the believer who trains with purpose — who knows the gym isn't just iron and sweat, but a place where God builds character, discipline, and strength for His mission.

We wear our faith because we are not ashamed. We train because a soldier of God must be ready — in body, in mind, and in spirit. Every rep. Every run. Every day.

'Here am I. Send me.' — Isaiah 6:8

I grew up Catholic, but war took my faith from me. When I came home in 2020, I traded the battlefield for the weekend — partying every chance I got, numbing the trauma I wasn't ready to face. Then one night, broken and on the floor, I cried out to God. I didn't know if He was listening. He was.

Fast forward through years of weekends I'd rather forget — my wife asked me to go to church with her on her birthday. I didn't want to go. I went anyway, thinking I was doing it for her. But the moment that pastor opened his mouth, something broke open inside me that I didn't even know was closed. I wept through the entire sermon. That wasn't for her. That was God, finally getting through.

From that moment, I chose obedience. I read my Bible every day. I journal to Him. I cut ties with everything pulling me back into the dark. I've always been in the weight room — but before, I trained for likes. Now I train for purpose. I lift so I can protect my wife and daughter from evil. I train because God deserves a soldier who is ready.

I grew up Baptist, but church never really grabbed me as a kid. I wanted to use my time for myself — and home was the one place I didn't want to be. So I joined the Army and never looked back. Deploying to Syria gave me a new perspective on how precious life really is — but I still couldn't fully grasp it.

Then I had my daughter, and my marriage fell apart. I was broken to my core. I could have gone back to the drinking, the numbing, the same routes I always took when life got hard. But this time, I heard a voice I recognized. One I'd known before. It said: come to me.

I started going to the gym religiously while on rotation in Germany. And when I got back, I found my faith again — because He had never lost me. God restored me when I had nothing left to give. I believe in Jesus with my whole heart. Because He always believed in me.
